Chuck is a partner within McGladrey’s Washington National Tax practice who has over 25 years of experience providing sophisticated international and domestic transfer tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and closely held business owners. Chuck has delivered many presentations covering important tax planning topics across the country. He had recently delivered a national presentation on sophisticated foreign transfer tax strategies on behalf of the Notre Dame University 38th Annual Estate Planning Symposium. Before joining McGladrey, Chuck worked as a senior tax manager at Deloitte and Touche; as a national tax director at the Washington, DC, office of Coopers and Lybrand; and as vice president and chief compliance officer for Allstate Financial Services (broker/dealer) and Allstate Financial Advisors (registered investment advisor). He received his undergraduate degree in accounting at Loyola University of Chicago (1982) and Juris Doctor at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law (1985). Chuck is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He had hosted a daily radio tax topic program on WPGC in Washington, DC; and periodically contributed planning articles for several tax publications across the country.
