Dave currently serves as the first Senior Strategic Advisor for the Global Public Sector Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Dave is a well-recognized fiscal responsibility/accountability, government transformation, and retirement security expert. He also has significant strategic planning, risk management, financial, human capital, change management, government relations, citizen education/engagement and other functional experience.

Dave received Presidential appointments with unanimous Senate confirmation from Reagan, Bush (41) and Clinton, including serving as Comptroller General of the United States and head of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) for almost 10 years. He previously served as a Partner and Global Managing Director for Human Capital Services with Arthur Andersen LLP. His initial government experience included serving as Assistant Secretary of Labor for the current Employee Benefit SecurityAdministration (EBSA), acting head of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), and as one of two Public Trustees for Social Security and Medicare. 

Dave currently serves on a number of non-profit boards and advisory committees. He is also one of 400 global members of the Trilateral Commission. 

Dave lives in Bridgeport, CT and Alexandria, VA with his wife Mary. They have two grown children and three grandchildren.
