Current Role

Sharon's focus is on developing the Firm's Client Accounting and Advisory Service (CAS) practice and providing solutions to clients, which range from outsourced business processes to collaborative advisory services. She is a member of Rehmann's Finance and Accounting Solutions ("Solutions") Executive Committee and leads the Solutions Technology Subcommittee. Additionally, Sharon is the office managing principal of Rehmann's Farmington Hills, Michigan office.

Experience

Sharon began her career as an auditor with a large international public accounting firm. She has over 30 years of experience in public accounting as well as private industry. With extensive experience providing accounting, audit and review services, she has performed technical reviews, peer reviews and internal inspections; this makes her a natural fit for designing and implementing effective accounting solutions. She has worked with clients in various industries but has found her niche working with privately-held businesses.

Committed to the advancement of technology and CAS in the accounting industry, Sharon has participated on serveral advisory boards including Intacct Accountants Program and Bill.com, and was most recently appointed to the CPA.com CAS 2.0 Advisory Council.
