Jeff Pierce

Jeff serves as a Partner and Director of Strategic Relationships for Creative Planning, working directly with external partners to drive firm growth objectives and solutions brought to clients. When it comes to building trusted relationships with partners and providing solutions, the drive to ask questions and continually learn makes him an effective leader. In his youth, Jeff used to pour over the financial section of the newspaper with his father. Those early lessons formed the foundation for what would become a distinguished career in financial services. While also learning from mentors what true leadership looks like, and how far collaboration, communication and transparency can go in bringing everyone together to help the firm reach its desired results. As a people leader, Jeff brings a holistic perspective to the firm. His role at Creative Planning is about more than identifying growth opportunities and inspiring people to do good work. It's about making Creative Planning the kind of place where people can build purpose-filled careers, inspiring others to continually improve how they understand and provide value to clients. Prior to Creative Planning, Jeff served as the Chief Executive Officer of Wipfli Financial Advisors, a Midwest based, multi-billion-dollar registered investment advisor. A recognized trailblazer in global practice management research and consulting, Jeff is frequently called upon to speak at national industry conferences and business events. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the Washington State University, where he graduated with honors. In his free time, he enjoys cooking for family and friends, as well as enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two daughters.
