Ms. Zurcher's area of practice include Federal Taxation with an emphasis in Employee Benefits and Retirement Plans.  She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Carol was a member and a former chair of the AICPA's Employee Benefits Tax Resource Panel.  She has also served on the AICPA Tax Executive Committee, the Tax Legislation and Policy Committee, the National Tax Conference Steering Committee.  She has served on the AICPA Employee Benefits Conference Planning Committee.  She is a former board member of the Employee Benefits Council of Central Florida, Inc.



In 2013, along with partner, Thomas A. Thomas, Carol co-founded the Association of Independent Doctors (AID).  AID is a national trade association established to further the interest of independent doctors with one of its goals to give patients a choice and knowledge in their health care decisions.



Carol strongly believes in giving back to her community.  She has volunteered at Arnold Palmer Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, has served on the Board of Florida Leaders Council and served on numerous committees and chaired The Annual Winter Park Partners in Progress fundraisers.  Carol currently supports IMPower, Inc., a non-profit agency that strives to provide support and empowerment to Central Florida children living in unstable homes.
