Melissa Thornton

Melissa Thornton currently works as the Member Learning and Competency manager for the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). In her role, she focuses on implementing Future of Learning recommendations to increase AICPA member learning and engagement with continuing professional education. Her recent projects include the new Employee Benefit Plans Audit certificates. Prior to working for the AICPA, she worked for the California Society of CPAs in marketing communications. She is a UCLA alumnus and in her spare time enjoys listening to podcasts, trying new recipes and making crafts for friends and family.
