Founder, Advisor Perspectives

Robert Huebscher was most recently a vice chairman of VettaFi, a data, analytics, and thought leadership company serving asset managers, advisors and investors. VettaFi is a subsidiary of the Toronto Stock Exchange. In 2007, he founded Advisor Perspectives. Under his leadership, Advisor Perspectives became the most widely read electronic newsletter among financial advisors and is generally regarded as the most influential source of investment and financial planning content for the advisory and planning professions. He sold Advisor Perspectives to VettaFi in October 2022. Prior to that, he was part of the management team of ByAllAccounts before its sale to Morningstar. He founded and was the CEO of Hub Data, a market data redistribution service he sold to Advent Software in 1997, and founded and led the software business for Technical Data before its sale to Thomson Financial in 1987.

Bob has a master's degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Connecticut College. He serves on the board of directors of Caribou, a provider of services and technology to financial advisors to assist their clients with healthcare planning. He serves on the board of advisors of the Institute for the Fiduciary Standard, the most prominent advocacy organization for the fiduciary standard in the financial services industry. He serves on the board of advisors of QueensfieldAI, a research and development company that provides AI-based investment products.
