Founder & President, Kinder Institute of Life Planning

Internationally recognized as the father of the Life Planning movement, the Harvard-educated Kinder is the founder of the Kinder Institute of Life Planning. He has been a practicing financial planner and tax advisor for over 30 years.

His books, The Seven Stages of Money Maturity and Lighting the Torch: The Kinder Method(TM) of Life Planning, are considered the seminal works in the burgeoning field of Life Planning. Life Planning for You, his newest publication, is an inspiring step-by-step description of how Life Planning, either as a self-help phenomenon, or as a global movement in financial services, transforms people’s lives. Filled with dramatic stories of change, it gives the reader access to the skills necessary to do Life Planning for themselves. It also contains a guide to finding financial advisers they can genuinely trust.

The Kinder Institute trainings are recognized world-wide as the standard for trainings in client-advisor relationship skills. The KI website, www.kinderinstitute.com, provides a listing for the general public of nearly 2000 trained advisors in 23 countries. There are over 300 Registered Life Planners® fully trained and certified worldwide. Kinder was recently listed in Professional Adviser's annual review as one of the 50 Most Influential People in the world of financial advice.
