Jeffrey P. Draper

Jeff Draper joined Eli Lilly and Company as manager of corporate financial reporting in 1998. He is currently senior advisor of corporate financial reporting. In addition to his external reporting responsibilities, Draper is responsible for accounting policies and providing consultation for business development activities.
Prior to joining Lilly, Draper was with Ernst & Young LLP for approximately 14 years in the audit practice of the firm’s Indianapolis office.
Draper serves on the Financial Executives International Committee on Corporate Reporting, and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America’s Accounting and Reporting Principles Subcommittee.
During 2000 to 2001, Draper assisted the AICPA task force that drafted the practice aid, “Assets Acquired in a Business Combination to Be
Used in Research and Development Activities: A Focus on Software, Electronic Devices, and Pharmaceutical Industries.” Beginning in 2009, he currently participates in another AICPA task force to update the practice aid.
Draper is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Butler University.
