Cary Fox is Regional Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System located in San Antonio, Texas. In his role, Mr. Fox leads the region's strategic planning activities, including its clinical integration initiative, and has responsibility for key support areas including risk management, business development, construction and marketing. Mr. Fox has nearly 34 years of health care experience, and has been with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System since 1997 in both strategic planning and operational roles. Before coming to San Antonio, Mr. Fox served as Vice President of Strategic Development for Catholic Healthcare West's (now Dignity Health) South Bay region based in San Jose, California for almost 10 years. Mr. Fox also held executive roles with the former American Medical International based in Beverly Hills, California. Mr. Fox began his career in 1978 as the first Executive Director for a 12 county rural Emergency Medical Services agency located in eastern Alabama. Mr. Fox is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University at Los Angeles, as well as Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Public Health from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Fox has been married to his wife Meredith for 35 years and they have two children.
