Larry Nall is the senior vice president of provider network management for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In this role he is responsible for all activities concerning the structure and design of the companys provider networks, including contract negotiations with hospitals, facilities and physician groups. He also oversees the new network innovation department including Patient Centered Medical Homes and preferred providers. Since his arrival, hes helped to forge strategic provider partnerships that led to the successful development of affordable marketplace health plans, of which BlueCross leads in marketshare. Prior to joining BlueCross, Nall served as vice president of network development for the Amerigroup Corporation and has more than 25 years of health care experience. He began his career in the health care industry with Deaconess Hospital as an accounting supervisor. Following a stint at West Tennessee Healthcare as director of operations, Nall worked for Cigna Healthcare, serving as vice president of both network management and contracting. His other work experience includes service as UnitedHealthcares vice president for network management, leading all contracting efforts in Tennessee, Arkansas and the Carolinas, as well as vice president of managed care consulting for Quorum Health Resources. Nall is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana where he earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting. He later received his MBA from the University of Evansville. He is also an advanced member with the Health Care Financial Management Association.
