Gary is the Technical Director of the AICPA Peer Review Program. Over the past 25 years, his responsibilities have included the overall activities of the AICPA Peer Review Board, its task forces, standard setting and oversight processes and day-to-day and financial operations of the Program. Currently, his responsibilities are focused on the technical and regulatory aspects of peer review, fostering a modern peer review program and supervising the work of 20 technical staff. Gary has been a speaker at many peer review conferences and has authored several peer review articles. Prior to joining the AICPA, Gary worked at Coopers & Lybrand in New York. A native of Syracuse, New York, Gary attended the University of Florida and Queens College and has Bachelors’ Degrees in Accounting & Information Systems and Economics. Gary works in the AICPA’s Durham, North Carolina office and is an avid fisherman and sports memorabilia collector.
