| Bill Lajoie, CPA, CFE joined Haynie & Company in 2020 as an Audit Partner. His practice consists of audits of employee benefit plans, distributors, manufacturers, and not-for profit organizations, as well as compilations and reviews. Bill has extensive experience in performing peer reviews and serves as a technical reviewer for peer reviews conducted in Colorado and New Mexico. He has served on the AICPA Peer Review Board, as a chairman of the Peer Review Committee of the Colorado Society of CPA’s, and as current chair of the Practice Monitoring Task Force of the AICPA Peer Review Board. He is a past member of the Executive Committee of the AICPA Audit Quality Center for Employee Benefit Plans and has been a frequent speaker at the AICPA National Conferences for Peer Review and for Employee Benefit Plans. He is also a certified fraud examiner, and a former member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association. Bill graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1970. He enjoys hiking and trekking, sports and his work as a 20-year volunteer at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He and his wife Judith, who is an attorney with the firm of Snell & Wilmer, LLP, live in Littleton. |
