Tom J. Brakke CFA

Tom Brakke is a consultant, writer, and investment advisor. As principal of TJB Research, Tom specializes in helping investment firms and institutional investors with decision making processes and organizational strategy. Tom writes a blog about the wide range of 'research puzzles' that face all participants in the financial markets and has published a book, 'Letters to a Young Analyst.'

Tom has served in a number of roles in the investment management industry, including stints as director of research at American Express Financial Advisors, president of Advisor Capital Strategies, and professional advisor at the Carlson School of Management of the University of Minnesota. Mr. Brakke has been consulting since 2003.
