Dwight Dunton is the founder and President of Bonaventure Realty Group. As the leader in Bonaventure’s business development, he sets the strategic direction of the company and builds lasting relationships with our partners. Dwight possesses a vast array of knowledge in all things multifamily, including financing, operations, design, entitlement and rezoning. Dedicated to his involvement in the industry and his community, Dwight serves as the President of the Central Virginia Apartment Association (CVAA), the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria, as well as, Chairman of the Government Investment, Credit & Subsidy Subcommittee for the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC). Prior to founding Bonaventure, Dwight served as Director of Corporate & Strategic Development at Franklin Credit Management; a New York based publicly traded specialty finance company; and working in investment banking. Dwight has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Dwight resides in Alexandria with his wife and 4 daughters.
