Ken Shore is a Vice President with Wells Fargo 1031Exchange Services based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Ken serves as a National Sales Executive for 1031 Exchange Services, focused primarily on business development and relationship management with corporate tax executives, attorneys, accountants, bankers, and clients nationwide.

Wells Fargo 1031 Exchange Services is part of Wells Fargo’s Corporate Trust Services Team. For 75 years, Wells Fargo has provided its clients with industry-leading corporate trust products, including fiduciary, trustee and agency services. Wells Fargo is the largest bank holding company in the United States based on banking stores, and the second largest in terms of deposits. Wells Fargo 1031 Exchange Services facilitates like-kind exchange transactions for both corporate and individual clients by serving as “Qualified Intermediary” and “Accommodator” under provisions of Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code, and provide enhanced product offerings, including qualified trusts for clients seeking greater security for their exchange proceeds.

Ken has an in-depth understanding of IRC §1031 Like-Kind Exchanges and has educated hundreds of clients on the use of §1031 to assist them in deferring capital gains taxes. He regularly teaches continuing education classes on 1031 exchanges and presents at various seminars for Investors, Realtors, Attorneys and CPAs.

Ken graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.A. in Economics. He currently holds his sales licenses in Property & Casualty/Liability Insurance and Life Insurance in various states. He has 30 years of experience in various sales and management positions in the Financial Services Industry. In addition, Ken has served on the local Board of Directors for the YMCA, and for the revitalization efforts of Downtown Durham, Inc., in Durham, N.C.
