Susan is a partner in the Construction Practice Group of SLS. She has many years' experience advising owners, contractors, designers, lenders and sureties on how to structure projects, how to develop and tailor their contract documents and how to resolve problems when they arise. She is an AAA arbitrator and frequent speaker and writer on construction topics. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and George Washington University's National Law Center, and a former trial attorney at the U.S. Departmentof Justice in Washington.
