Rachel Mincin is an Associate Chief Accountant in the SEC's Office of the Chief Accountant. Rachel's responsibilities include following the activities of professional accounting standard setting bodies, consulting with registrants on accounting and reporting matters, and participating in the development of the Commission's interpretation and rule proposals.

Rachel joined the SEC's Office of the Chief Accountant in 2007, after spending a year as a Senior Policy Accountant with the OCC. Prior to joining the OCC, Rachel spent six years in the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance. Prior to joining the SEC, Rachel worked in public accounting for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia.
