Lee Keel is a senior manager in the Enterprise Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting department at Wells Fargo, focusing on traditional banking and lending products. In this role, Lee develops and maintains accounting policies, consults on accounting for specific transactions, and serves as a contact for standard setters and regulators. His key areas include loan and lease accounting, TDRs and business combinations. Lee has also been a product controller in the Corporate and Investment Bank at Wells Fargo. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Lee was an audit manager at Arthur Andersen in Charlotte, NC.
Lee has Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA. Lee has served as a member of the AICPA’s Depository and Lending Institutions Expert Panel.
