Member of the Firm, Wolf and Company

Jean serves as the Director of Wolf’s Financial Institutions group, providing audit and attestation services to the Firm’s financial institution clients in both the engagement officer and concurring officer roles. The Firm currently provides audit services to approximately 125 financial institutions. She is also the Firm’s Director of Professional Practice and oversees the Firm’s compliance with professional standards. In this regard, she has direct oversight of the Firm’s peer review and PCAOB inspection processes. Jean is currently a member of the Standing Advisory Group to the PCAOB, as well as a member of the Center for Audit Quality’s Professional Practice Executive Committee. Since 1994, Jean has served on various committees/expert panels of the AICPA that focus on accounting and auditing issues related to financial services. She has contributed to the AICPA Audit & Accounting Guide for Depository and Lending Institutions and related Audit Risk Alerts, and is a former Chair of the AICPA’s Annual Conference on Banks and Savings Institutions and Depository Institutions Expert Panel. In addition, Jean was actively involved with the AICPA’s initiative to assist members with regard to HUD audit requirements for supervised lenders. Jean is a summa cum laude graduate of Bentley University, and a past President of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
