Chip is a financial accounting professional with over 20 years of experience assisting companies resolve complex business and accounting issues. He is experienced in financial instruments accounting guidance in the United States (US GAAP) for both current and emerging standards. Chip works with a number of the firm's financial services clients and a number of non-financial service clients on treasury related matters. 

Chip is a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's ("PwC's") National Professional Services Group on the financial instruments team. Chip assists on a number of complex topics including derivatives, investments, impairments, and financings. He is a regular contributor to many of our firm publications, as well as to the development of firm positions and responses to proposed accounting standards in the United States.

Chip is PwC's representative on the FASB's Transition Resource Group for the Credit Impairment standard. He also serves as PwC's representative on the AICPA Depository Institution Expert Panel as well as the Planning Committee for the AICPA National Conference on Banks and Savings Institutions.
