Karen provides accounting and audit services to small and medium size businesses, governments, nonprofits and employee benefit plans as well as peer review services. She performs numerous single audits annually.

Karen is a member of the AICPA Peer Review Board and the chair of the Education and Communication Task Force. She is also a member of the Illinois Peer Review Committee. She also serves as chair of the GCA Subgroup of the Practice Monitoring Task Force (PMTF) which is a group comprised of auditors with specialization in performing engagements under Government Auditing Standards and single audits. Karen is also a past chairperson of the Technical Issues Committee of the AICPA’s Private Company Practice Section, a role centered on interfacing with accounting and auditing standards setters, providing comments and perspectives on the impact of accounting standards on private companies, not-for-profit entities and governmental entities.

Based in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. According to Jeff Foxworthy you can tell because the Dairy Queen is closed from September through May, she helps random people at Home Depot, has worn shorts and a jacket, talks to people who dial the wrong cell number, vacation is going north-about an hour (not mention of the number of miles), knows how to use jumper cables, and yes sports a cheesehead every now and again.
