Jennifer Rand CPA

As deputy division director and deputy chief auditor, Jennifer A. Rand assists in managing the Office of the Chief Auditor by overseeing standard-setting initiatives and department activities. She also provides technical direction in the development of PCAOB standards and ensures that the PCAOB standards are appropriately communicated to public company auditors and other interested parties.

Prior to joining the PCAOB in December 2003, Ms. Rand was director of the SEC Practice Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She joined the AICPA in 1996. Earlier, she was with Price Waterhouse as an audit manager.

Ms. Rand earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia. She is a certified public accountant in Virginia.
