| O'Brien has over 30 years of accounting experience with local, regional and national public accounting firms and have been responsible for all areas related to the audits and reviews of single employer, multi-employer and multiple-employer sponsored plans, including employee benefits, qualified retirement, health and welfare, and fringe benefits plans. I also have extensive firm administration experience, including, but not limited to, budgeting, marketing, scheduling, billing and collections and practice analyses. Earlier in my career, I provided auditing, accounting and consulting services to clients in the wholesale, retail, manufacturing, professional services, real estate and other industries. In 2007, I was the founding member and chair of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Committee and was instrumental in creating the annual PICPA EBP conference. I was also a member of the PA Professional Ethics Committee (2011 -2014) and served as chair of the Committee 2013-2014. Currently, I am a member of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plans Expert Panel, the AICPA Practice Monitoring Task Force-Employee Benefit Plans and the AICPA Emerging Industries Task Force. |
