A co-founder of Pillar Financial Advisors, which merged with Argent Wealth Management in 2013, Beth has been a financial planner for 30 years. She helps wealthy individuals evaluate, coordinate and implement sophisticated investment, estate, income tax and charitable giving strategies.

For seven consecutive years Worth Magazine named Beth as one of the 'best financial advisers' in the country. From 1996 to 2001 she wrote 'Money Makeovers' for The Boston Globe, which described her as one of “New England’s leading financial planners.”

Beth is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and has served on The Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisors Committee and the Schwab Advisory Board. Her AICPA involvement includes past membership on the Executive Committee of the Personal Financial Planning Division and the Financial Literacy Commission and current membership on the Investments Committee.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of North Carolina and earned her M.S.B.A. in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management. She is a member of the Isenberg Leadership Board and served on the Board of Directors of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation from 2003 to 2013.

Beth received the AICPA’s 2009 Personal Financial Planning Distinguished Service Award, which is given to a volunteer who significantly contributes to the advancement of personal financial planning as a practice discipline and exemplifies the CPA as financial planner. The Boston Estate Planning Council selected Beth as its 2010 Estate Planner of the Year in recognition of her significant contributions to the estate planning profession.
