Monika Templeman J.D.

Monika A. Templeman is the Director of Employee Plans Examination at the IRS. A native of California, Monika received a BA degree in English and Political Science from California State University, Northridge. She studied International law at the University of Bologna, Italy, after receiving a scholarship from New York Law School. In 1980 she earned a JD Degree from California Institute of Law and was admitted to the California Bar Monika has been with the Service since 1988 and has nearly twenty years of experience in IRS management positions. Her previous position was as the EP Area Manager, Great Lakes and she acted as the Director EP Rulings and Agreements in FY 2005 after graduating from the Executive Readiness Program. Prior to joining the Service, Monika’s career experience included eight years as a corporate attorney and Corporate Counsel as well as several law professor positions.
