Mark is a Managing Director with Grant Thornton LLP, and is the Atlanta Compensation & Benefits Practice Leader. He consults with clients on a wide variety of benefits matters, such as tax qualification matters, qualified and nonqualified plans, compliance, welfare benefits and fringe benefit matters, design, ERISA compliance, administration, vendor searches, annual reporting returns, compliance diagnostic reviews and self-correction processes. He also provides benefits consulting in M&A transactions, including due diligence and Sec. 280G mitigation.

Mark received his B.A. in Political Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Kansas. He received his LL.M (Taxation) degree from the University of Missouri/Kansas City, and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He has published articles on benefits topics in numerous professional journals and is a frequent speaker on benefits topics.
