Allison Harrell

Allison is a shareholder with Thomas Howell Ferguson, P.A., a regional accounting firm. She has dedicated most of her career to specialize in not-for-profit and governmental accounting. She is a graduate of Florida State University, holding both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in accounting. She provides a wide range of services to clients, which include financial statement audits, compliance audits, internal control studies, and various consulting work. Allison is a member of various organizations and has served on boards and committees with her professional associations as well as within our community. She is currently serving on the American Institute of CPAs Not-for-Profit Expert Panel and was previously a member of the Government Audit Quality Center Executive Committee and the AICPA’s Inaugural Leadership Academy. She is a member of Leadership Tallahassee, Class 27, and Access Tallahassee. She was chairman of the board for 2-1-1 Big Bend and currently is the treasurer for Tree House of Tallahassee. She has also received such honors as being named one of the Top 40 under 40 CPAs in CPA Technology Advisor Magazine in 2009 and one of the Top 26 under 36 for the Florida Institute of CPAs CPA Today Magazine in 2013. She was awarded the 2014 Golden A.C.E. Award in the Finance Category by the Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals and the 2014 Emerging Leader Women to Watch Award by the Florida Institute of CPAs. And was named one of the Tallahassee Democrat’s top 25 Women You Need To Know for 2016. Allison is married her husband, Scott. They live a hectic life as they both work full time and have two children, Ensley, 7, and Caden, 11, but they both enjoy giving back to the community.
