Robin Taub CPA, CA

Robin Taub is an experienced Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), best-selling author, professional speaker, blogger, media spokesperson and consultant in the field of financial literacy.

Robin has held professional positions in both audit and taxation at two of Canada's largest accounting firms, and spent five years in the complex world of Derivatives Marketing at Citibank Canada. Currently, she works with various organizations to create financial information, programs and resources to help Canadians make more informed and appropriate financial and investing decisions. Robin is the best-selling author of A Parent’s Guide to Raising Money-Smart Kids, a book that gives parents the information and skills they need to communicate effectively with their children about money.

Robin is also passionate about improving opportunities for women CPAs to advance into positions of leadership and is Chair of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s Women’s Leadership Council.

Robin graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (High Distinction) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She earned her Chartered Accountant designation and went on to complete the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ (CICA) In-Depth Tax Course. Robin values lifelong learning and in 2010, she participated in the Canadian Board Diversity Council's Director Education Program.

Robin is the mother of two university-age children. She lives in Toronto and enjoys an active family life including cycling, hiking, snowboarding, music, travel, and reading.
