Olivia F. Kirtley, CPA, CGMA, is the immediate past Chairman and President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the global organization the accountancy profession, consisting of 175 national and international member bodies in 130 countries. IFAC supports the development of the international standards on ethics, auditing and assurance, education, and public sector accounting, which are established by four independent standard setting boards and have been adopted in over 100 countries. She is a past Chairman of the AICPA (with the privilege of being first woman Chairman) and former Chairman of the AICPA Board of Examiners for the U.S. CPA Examination. Olivia is currently a non-executive director of U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB), Randgold Resources (LSE: RRS.L and Nasdaq: GOLD), and lead independent director of Papa John’s International (Nasdaq: PZZA). She served as a faculty member of The Conference Board Directors’ Institute for ten years and remains a frequent speaker on audit, risk and governance issues. Olivia spent the first decade of her career with a large international accounting firm (EY predecessor), followed by over 20 years as a C-suite executive of a publicly traded global manufacturer and a private joint venture of Emerson Electric Co. and Robert Bosch GbmH.
