In his career in public accounting, Mark has provided accounting, auditing and information systems assurance services to a diverse group of private and publicly held companies. He has promoted digital transformation including the application of data analytics, process automation, change management and education. Mark is recognized for his background in bringing together his CPA and IT skills by being designated one of the inaugural CITPs in the country.
Mark has conducted educational programs domestically and Internationally focusing on the efficient and effective application of audit methodology and digital tools as well as actively promoting the use of data analytics to enable teams to perform efficient and effective engagements. He is a speaker at various AICPA, ISACA and AAA conferences on changes in technology, data analytics and the impact on the profession. He has served on several domestic and International Firm committees and task forces developing audit software, audit methodology, and automation techniques.
Mark is currently a member of the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee (ASEC) Emerging Assurance Technologies Task Force. He is also a member of the IAASB Data Analytics Project Advisory Panel. He has previously served on several AICPA committees and task forces. Mark has also received the IDEA User of Excellence Award.
