Over 25+ years accounting experience in both public and private accounting. She has a very diverse accounting background beginning her career at Ernst & Young before joining Time Incorporated. She has held the position of Controller for both public and private corporations. After 15 years as a tax/corporate accountant she took a position with JDEdwards, ERP Software Vendor, as a Financial Implementation/Marketing Consultant for both the private and governmental sector of the organization. Based on her education, experience and background she was approached in 2005 by members of her church to assist in starting a Christian School. This allowed her to expand on her knowledge of fund accounting with regard to nonprofit compliance requirements and regulations. The school was started in 2006, where she served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors until 2010. Currently she heads up the nonprofit pre-sales (marketing) vertical at Intacct Corporation as their nonprofit specialist. She assists the product marketing and development teams in understanding, not only the governmental compliance requirements of nonprofit organizations, but operational reporting and functional aspects required by Internal Staff, Executives, Board of Directors, Stakeholders and Trustees of nonprofit organizations seeking a cloud based financial solution.
