Hillary has spent the last 12 years at Trout Unlimited, as their Chief Financial & Administrative Officer helping the organization grow from $8 million to $42 million in operations and assisting 400 volunteer treasurers in handling their chapter finances. Prior to working for Trout Unlimited, Hillary worked in public accounting at Lane & Company, CPAs, where she was responsible for managing audit, consulting, and tax services for non-profit organizations. Hillary is also currently serving as the Chair for the Government Relations Committee for the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and is also the former President and Chair of the Board for the Society. She also served as President, and before that Treasurer, for Casting for Recovery, which is a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of women with breast cancer through the therapeutic sport of fly fishing. Hillary has a Master’s in Public Administration, with a focus on nonprofit management, from George Mason and received her BSBA in accounting from American University. She lives with her husband and five year old son in Hamilton, Virginia.
