Jane M. Searing CPA
Jane specializes in serving tax exempt organizations, private foundations, and philanthropic tax planning. She is a luminary in the area of exempt organization taxation frequently speaking and writing on critical issues. Jane has more than 30 years of experience serving philanthropically-minded taxpayers and the organizations they support. During her more than 20 years at Clark Nuber, she founded the tax-exempt practice and lead the National Exempt Organizations Services Group Jane grew the tax-exempt practice by focusing simultaneously on direction, Exemplary compliance services, and Listening and identifying solutions to complex problems which accomplished client goals. Jane has taken her winning strategy to the next level at Deloitte. It is her mission to deliver high-value compliance and advisory services, assisting clients with their complex philanthropic strategies, implement innovative tools, and develop highly-motivated, nationally-recognized talent within the firm. This will be the Deloitte Center for Excellence in Philanthropy. Jane earned a BA in Business Administrations - Accounting from University of Washington and Master's in Tax at Golden Gate University. She serves as a Director and Treasurer for Washington Women's Foundation, and Seattle Philanthropic Advisors Network; she is a member of Seattle Foundation's Professional Advisor's Committee; the AICPA; and the Washington Society of CPAs.
