Richard District of Columbia Newman J.D

Richard Newman is a partner in the law firm of Arent Fox, located in its DC office. Richard's practice focuses on real estate finance for nonprofits, with an emphasis on the use of Qualified 501(c) (3) Bonds and related tax issues, including debt financed rental income, UBIT and local taxation of real estate. Richard Co-Chairs the Arent Fox public finance practice, and is a Fellow of the American College of Real estate Lawyers, a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, is a cum laude graduate of NYU and a graduate of CWRU School of Law where he was Editor in Chief of the Law and Housing Journal.
