Scott Spiegel CPA, CGMA, CITP

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Scott leads our Chief Financial Officer, Content & Corporate Communications, Global Technology Services, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, Marketing & Member Experience, Office of General Counsel, Strategic Supplier Relationships, and Transformation teams. He is also a member of our Investments Committee and plays a critical role with our Audit & Finance Committee, Board of Directors, and the governing Councils of AICPA and CIMA. Scott is currently leading the Association's business transformation efforts to position the Association to best serve the profession in the future. Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer, he was the Association's Chief Financial Officer. Before the format​ion of the Association, Scott held several roles at the AICPA, which included Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President - Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development. He was also a member of the AICPA's relocation team when the company moved its operational headquarters to Durham, North Carolina, in 2006. Scott is a CPA, holds both the CGMA and CITP designations, and received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Rutgers University.​
