Description

There are many audit procedures, techniques and practices that are unique to multiemployer plans, particularly in the areas of collections, fiduciary responsibilities, internal controls and claims payments. Attendees will:
• Receive an overview of the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014
• Learn controls and fiduciary responsibilities unique to multiemployer plans
• Gain the skills needed to properly audit claims paid and denied
• Be able to streamline the process of performing payroll audits of employers participating in multiemployer plans
