Description

Enforcement generally means the plan sponsor cannot enter into a voluntary correction unless the correction is very minor. This session will focus on the corrections that are available to plan sponsors who have not followed the terms of their plan, or who have not been able to keep up with timely adoption of plan document amendments, or, perhaps, unintentionally incurred a fiduciary breach. The key takeaways include:
• The correction methods for different operational problems, such as the incorrect definition of compensation used compared to that required by the plan document
