This session will highlight newly released independence and ethics standards of the AICPA Professional Ethics Executive Committee. In addition, attendees will participate in an interactive case study designed to reinforce AICPA independence rules. Other topics to be covered include revisions to the independence rules on nonattest services, a project to codify the Code of Professional Conduct as well as other significant ethics initiatives.
