Audit staff performance evaluations are an increasingly important phase in audit practice management. The Audit manager/supervisor will not be effective if they don’t give appropriate evaluation on his/her audit staffs’ performance. It is even worse and may affect the overall performance if the audit staff person is evaluated wrongly and inadequately.
Times have changed. More and more audit firms need to radically change ( consider “scrap” or “re-engineer”) their performance evaluation process. When delivering an audit staff evaluation seems more like chore than a tool to improve and help the audit staff, it’s time to relook at the entire process.  When done properly, audit staff will like them and they truly do want to know how they are doing.   This session will cover ideas and suggestions on way to re-tool your audit staff evaluation process to enhance both individual and overall team performance on the audit.
