AUT2115 - Electrification - Evolving Dealership Real Estate

Oct 26, 2021 3:05pm ‐ Oct 26, 2021 3:55pm

Description

A discussion about the impact of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) powertrain transitions, e-tailing, and other real estate considerations. We will explore the infrastructure investment required to support BEVs and PHEVs at your dealership and their potential impact on the profitability of operations. This discussion will further explore dealership property requirements to support the future of e-tailing, service, vehicle sourcing, and inventory management.

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify the kind of investment a dealer needs to make in their facilities to support future BEV products
  • How may my dealership's profitability be impacted as we sell more BEVs (new vehicle margins, service frequency and service gross)?
  • Determine the current status of BEV sales and how fast it will grow
  • At what pace will nation wide infrastructure grow to support the coming BEV fleet?

Speaker(s):

  • Daniel Garces, Director of Acquisitions & SVP, Capital Automotive Real Estate Services, Inc.
