Description

The time has come for Lean Six Sigma, a relatively well-known approach for achieving operational excellence, to make its way into the nonprofit sector. In this session, participants who want to challenge the status quo will learn from an experienced leader who has adapted Lean Six Sigma tools to the nonprofit environment. Specifically, this session will explore ways to create a lean culture in your organization, uncover wastes that lead to inefficient processes, examine the role of culture on an organization’s ability to change, and introduce tools to eliminate waste through the DMAIC approach (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control).
