This session will explore and navigate practical planning strategies, traps for the unwary and will demystify certain aspects of COVID-19 responses from Congress, Treasury, the IRS and SBA.  We will provide a thorough and straight forward discussion of the relevant portions of the CARES Act and subsequent legislative actions and administrative guidance that has been issued since the passage of CARES Act.

Learning Objectives:
  • Analyze PPP topics of interest, including necessity and forgiveness issues
  • Identify EIDL topics of interest, including substantial injury requirements and pay back strategies
  • Determine other SBA programs of interest, including the Main Street Lending Program
  • Determine How to handle PPP Loan audits and confidentiality issues
