Clients and consumers are seeking independent, objective personal financial planning as a service offering and not a platform for investment management or product sales. CPAs by training, experience and ethics are a natural fit to offer this service to their clients. In this session, the attendee will be provided an overview of a personal financial planning model that fulfills the needs of the average non-high net worth client (also referred to as the Everyday client). Attendees will review the most common personal financial planning goals of the Everyday client and learn how to present solutions while maintaining a profitable business model that also impacts the community. Additionally, the attendee will be introduced to the resources provided by the AICPAs PFP Section.
