In this session, we will discuss complexities associated with valuation of small and lower middle market businesses in the context of the business owner’s objective to monetize wealth stored in the company. We will consider an overview of appraisal methods, adjustments commonly required in small business valuations and issues that can interfere with realization of the appraised value in an actual sale transaction.
