This session will teach the CPA how to identify the most important parts of the trust document and how to identify the boilerplate. After completing this session the CPA will have a much better understanding of how read and understand the most important parts of a trust document.
The session will:
• Focus on the types of trusts CPAs will most frequently encounter.
• Learn the different types of trusts a CPA will encounter e.g. revocable trusts, marital deduction trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts (SLATs), charitable remainder trusts (CRTs),grantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs) and more.
• Learn to identify the type of trust and the language which trigger certain tax consequences.
