Women's Global Leadership Summit 2017

WOM17302 - Women in Business: Gender Differences in Interpreting and Responding to Risk

Nov 10, 2017 7:00am ‐ Nov 10, 2017 7:50am

Standard: $49.00

Description

This session will explore the findings from Grant Thornton International’s 2017 Women in business (WiB) report. This report builds on previous WiB work that has explored: the performance advantages of mixed gender leadership teams; the routes to the top for women; and the motivations for men and women seeking senior positions. This year’s report takes a closer look at effective risk management as vital to future growth. We are now living through unpredictable times and many risks are becoming a reality. The need to see and seize the opportunity presented by uncertainty has never been greater. During the session, we will examine how men and women interpret and respond to risk, and how this affects the business decisions they make.
