EST1737 - Pre-Mortem Planning

Jun 15, 2017 10:50am ‐ Jun 15, 2017 12:05pm

Standard: $49.00

Description

In the Pre-Mortem Planning Session, the speakers will discuss the use of trusts as the cornerstone of the basic estate and asset protection plan. Specifically, the speakers will discuss powers that may be included in the trust design to provide flexibility and versatility to the beneficiary, while still protecting trust assets from creditors, divorcing spouses and the estate tax system. With the potential in the current political environment for changes to the estate tax, the speakers will cover the reasons that pre-mortem planning is still relevant and vital for clients and their advisors.
