Today the CGMA Program and designation are globally recognized for demonstrating the technical accounting and finance skills expected of professionally qualified management accountants, through rigorous education, examination and experience requirements.

Arleen Thomas, AICPA – SVP, Management Accounting & Global Markets, will outline new possibilities for increasing awareness and adoption of the CGMA designation in the United States, as well as highlight a wide range of additional CGMA initiatives already in development. She’ll also review collaborative efforts underway with state societies, employers and educators to prepare for future CGMA opportunities, including broader access for CPAs and other qualified finance professionals in early 2017.

You’ll leave this general session with a broad understanding of the CGMA designation and the value it brings to members, employers and educators—for the next generation of CPAs and other finance professionals.
