The accounting profession is becoming global, diverse and technology reliant. Young professionals face the challenge of effectively engaging and communicating with clients whose expectations are influenced by their age, experience, geography and professional needs. With effective client engagement being among the most desired skills - but the one skill consistently lacking in young professionals - many firms have responded with skill-building techniques now proven to be ineffective.
In this interactive session, participants will receive insights behind effective client engagement and interpersonal communication. Through self-assessment, participants will discover their own client engagement strengths and weaknesses. Finally, participants will learn effective techniques to develop skilled client engagement and communication through mentorship and experiential learning.
